Our Mission
Our mission is the one that Jesus gave us just before ascended into heaven:
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
Discovering Worship at Oaklawn...
When you join us for Worship at Oaklawn, you will discover a warm fellowship of believers engaging in an uplifting and inspiring
worship experience. While some might label our current worship services as "blended," we consider them "biblical." We sing a
mixture of "psalms, hymns and spiritual songs."
We do not concentrate on the content of the worship experience. Instead we encourage the worshipper to offer a sacrifice of
worship in "spirit and truth." We believe when we understand what Jesus was speaking of in John 4, we will come back to the heart
of worship, which is offering a truthful expression of our spirits to God.
