Special Needs Ministry
Our mission is to provide a safe, secure, place for people with special needs to learn more about God, His Son Jesus Christ, the Bible, and the love God
has for all people. We carefully screen everyone who works with the Special Needs Classes. Safety is at the forefront of our minds at all times. You can
have every confidence we are doing all we can to love and care for your loved one with special needs, the way you would. We have been reaching out to adults
with special needs for almost 20 years. Our individuals with special needs range from 17years old to over 50 years old. A local home brings a group to
our church every Wednesday night.
Activity Times
On Sunday mornings we have Special Needs classes during Sunday School (9:30 – 10:45)
They also participate in the regular church worship service (10:45-12:00)
On Wednesday nights (6:30 – 7:30)
following the meal time (5:30 – 6:30)
the individuals with special needs, take part in the special
program developed with their abilities in mind.
During this time they worship God and
participate in challenging, life changing
messages
from
the word of God.
We are careful to be sensitive to ability.
Other Activities
Each summer our church sends the special needs group to a weekend camp developed especially for them. It is a great time, and they
talk about it all year long. These are special people, and we realize the love God has for us, when we spend time with them.
